Chuansha Town has a history of more than 400 years and is known as the "culture root" on the Pudong side of Shanghai. On this tour, we will visit Neishidi Residence in Chuansha Town, the former home of the Soong family. Historical records show that Soon Ching-ling, Soong Tzu-wen, and Soong Mei-ling were born in Chuansha after their father returned from missionary work in 1890. Neishidi Residence was also the former residence of scores of renowned Chinese figures. We will also visit Nanshi Street which is filled with time-honored shops selling local folk crafts and antiques. At the end of this tour, we will also visit the Soong Qing-ling Memorial Residence on Middle Huaihai Road.

Cancellation Policy

If you are unable to attend the event after receipt of confirmation, please notify us immediately by emailing SEA@shanghaiSEA.com. If it's the day of the event, please ALSO notify the coordinator listed on the event by phone, text, or WeChat.

If you need to cancel after September 5, our SEA cancellation policy applies which states you might still have to pay for your registered event, depending on the vendor. SEA will notify you to either collect or let you pay it at your next registered event.
