In collaboration with LACMA (LA County Museum of Art), the Qatar Museum and the Yuz Museum in Shanghai, the current Nara Yoshitomo solo exhibition is the largest of its kind in mainland China. Nara is representative of the post WW2 Japanese artists, belonging to the same generation as Murakami and Yayoi Kusama. Join us with Art Historian Julie Chun for a dose of Japanese art and galleries packed with Nara’s imaginings that dominate his and the viewer’s world.
