About the Event
We all know about the famous Nanjing pedestrian street known for its stores and lights. But did you ever have a look behind it? We will follow our tour leader for a walk in the narrow alleys behind Nanjing Road. Immerse yourself in the local life and discover old houses that used to belong to rich families, ancient buildings of associations and banks, and a “gangster temple.” We will admire hidden architectural details and travel through time, bringing us back to the 1920’s and 30’s Shanghai!
