Wulong Teas: Mountains and Beyond
Time & Location
About the Event
Wulong teas are appreciated for their complex aromas and varied flavors - a result of their complicated production methods. China’s three major areas of terroir each have their own characteristic recipe. During this trek in a wholesale tea market, Tracy Lesh, a certified tea specialist, selects knowledgeable vendors who will offer us tastings while we learn how wulong developed over the years. From full-bodied rock wulongs to fresh and floral ‘monkey-picked’ styles, you will be surprised at the diversity of flavors and, we will discover new ways to enjoy tea from a multi-sensory perspective. Unique snacks will be provided!
