Jingdezhen Ceramics Tour
Situated in Jiangxi Province in a beautiful mountainous area, Jingdezhen, known as the “Porcelain Capital of China,” is rich in the natural resources required for porcelain production. The local potters have been practicing their craft for over 1700 years. On this trip we will visit the Ancient Kiln Park, the Ancient Dragon Kilns in Yaoli Village, the Friday Night Market, and the Saturday Morning Market. Our tour guide, Leslie Jian, is an experienced potter herself. She will provide us with inside knowledge regarding ceramic production. Plenty of shopping time is planned so we are able to bring back unique and beautiful porcelain pieces.
