About the Event
Discover how to create lovely colors and patterns on a silk foulard by using flowers, extracts and other natural materials you can find in your home.
In this three-hour workshop we will explore the art of bundle dyeing, an intuitive and creative way to imprint nature’s colors onto fabric. We will cover how to prepare your silk for dyeing, how to arrange flowers and plant materials to achieve stunning patterns, and how to adjust or enhance tones using natural modifiers.
With this knowledge you will hand dye your own silk foulard (66 × 66 cm) to take home. A unique piece infused with the beauty of nature.
