About the Event
Suzhou’s Dongshan peninsula is characterized by the rural surroundings of tea plantations, fruit orchards, plus some hidden sites of historical interest. Join us as we hike up to the peak of the highest hill in Dongshan for a spectacular view of Taihu Lake before we descend upon the ancient village of Luxiang dotted with fruit orchards and gardens. Within this tiny village, there are over 30 well-protected Ming Dynasty heritage houses. We will also enjoy lunch at a local restaurant.
