About the Event
Please join us at Yuan Chinese Art Workshop where artist Zhang Jinbao will teach us Chinese art, Chinese philosophy, and the techniques of traditional Chinese painting.
Mr. Zhang is a painter of Huaxia National Art Painting and Calligraphy Institute in Beijing. His work “National Beauty and Heavenly Fragrance” won the gold award on the “National Exhibition of Painting and Calligraphy during the Unforgotten Period” in Beijing. He has been a senior teacher more than 15 years.
You will watch him as he paints wisteria and explains the fundamental characteristics of Chinese ink painting. Under his guidance, you will then create your own painting on rice paper.
