About the Event
Chinese paper cutting is the earliest known form of paper craft. Since the invention of paper in 105 AD, this traditional folk art has been used to create symbolic, decorative motifs for festivals and daily life.
In this workshop, we will learn the beautiful and intricate techniques behind Chinese paper cutting. Participants may bring their own design or choose from a selection of templates provided by the instructor. Step by step, we will be guided in creating a unique paper-cut motif. All materials are included, along with practical tips to help us explore this traditional art form.
