About the Event
Basket making is an ancient craft throughout the world and it can be done incorporating different materials: both natural and man-made. While making coiled vessels requires patience, it is definitely an easy, fun, and addictive activity! In this three-hour workshop, we will learn the basics of coiling, in which fibers are wound around each other in concentric rings, and create by using a simple hand sewing technique your own woven coiled bowl.
Make in China:
Born and raised in cold Canada, Veronique is a fiber lover and a self-taught creative seriously addicted to handmade things and beautiful craftsmanship.
