DAY TRIP: Zijin Nunnery, Bamboo Forest, and Tea Ceremony
Time & Location
About the Event
Located close to Taihu Lake, Zijin nunnery was first built 1400 years ago, then rebuilt in the Tang Dynasty. It is famous for the lively and remarkable sculptures of the 16 Lohans. We will lunch on local Suzhou specialties in Wang Shan Village, which is the most beautiful ecological village in Jiang Su province. Next we will enjoy the silence and fresh air on a “health trail” of a bamboo forest.
