Located close to Taihu Lake, Zijin nunnery was first built 1400 years ago, then rebuilt in the Tang Dynasty. It is famous for the lively and remarkable sculptures of the 16 Lohans. We will lunch on local Suzhou specialties in Wang Shan Village, which is the most beautiful ecological village in Jiang Su province. Next we will enjoy the silence and fresh air on a “health trail” of a bamboo forest. And then we will enjoy an elegant tea ceremony with a Guzheng performance in a bamboo grove teahouse and learn about the graceful and slow life in this area.

Cancellation Policy 

If you are unable to attend after receipt of confirmation, please notify us immediately by emailing daytrips@seashanghai.org. If it's the day of the event, please ALSO notify the coordinator listed on the event by phone, text or WeChat.  

If you need to cancel after November 10, SEA cancellation policy applies which states you might still have to pay for your registered event, depending on the vendor. SEA will notify you to either collect or let you pay it at your next registered event.
