Qigong practice facilitates the recovery of harmony between ourselves, others and the universe. It helps us regain the ability to feel connections beyond the physical level, an ability that is gradually forgotten as we grow up. It also allows us to explore the essence of life and the root of physical manifestations we assume as part of the whole of reality.

What is sound healing? The origins and benefits of sound healing were referred to in “The Yellow Emperor's Inner Canon of Medicine” (Huangdi Neijing), one of the earliest texts of Chinese medicine, which described how when the five major organs of the body are in tune with heaven, there will be harmony and freedom from disease.

What are the benefits of sound healing? The vibrations produced from Himalayan Singing Bowls can help to relax the body, while balancing and harmonizing the chakras. As the molecules in the body resonate with the vibrational frequency of the singing bowls, the body is "tuned" or re-balanced, stimulating the body's healthy flow of energy, releasing blocked energy in the chakras, alleviating areas of pain and discomfort, and bringing peace and harmony to body and mind.

If you are unable to attend the event after receipt of confirmation, please notify us immediately by emailing events@seashanghai.org. If it's the day of the event, please ALSO notify the coordinator listed on the event by phone, text or WeChat.

If you need to cancel after January 22, our SEA cancellation policy applies which states you might still have to pay for your registered event, depending on the vendor. SEA will notify you to either collect or let you pay it at your next registered event.
