About the Event

Our local guide, Lisa Zhu, will take us for an informative and relaxing day trip to Guang Fu Lin, which is an archaeological site in Songjiang District estimated to be over 5000 years old. We will explore the associated Cultural Relics Park and its "floating museum," which contains Neolithic remains, history from the East Zhou period (770 BC - 256 BC), and a discussion of the "China Pyramids" design. We will also visit a Zen-style temple, music fountain, library, and pagoda. The day will also include a sip of tea and local lunch in the museum area. Are you ready to escape the big city, relax, and learn about the roots of Shanghai?
