This rare event at the Yuz Museum in Shanghai brings together two important topics for discussion: 1) the relevancy of paintings in today’s society and 2) a closer look into the workings by a Chinese contemporary artist, particularly from a female point of view. The globally-acclaimed Shi Zhiying has been invited by the Yuz Museum to hold her solo exhibition entitled “Stones and Stories” lasting from March 22 to June 16, 2024.
