Fuzhou Road is known as the “stationery street” in Shanghai. Even as the world moves to digital media, some business owners have managed to keep their shops running with an offering of unique products. Lisa Zhu will lead us on an exploration of this hidden treasure in the heart of Shanghai as we search for Christmas or Chinese New Year gifts that are designed and made in China. Choose from Chinese styled calendars, Chinese fabric notebooks, calligraphy supplies, wrapping paper in both Chinese and Japanese styles, cards, frames, handmade bamboo products, traditional Chinese tea sets, and many other fun Chinese products.

Cancellation Policy

If you are unable to attend an event after receipt of confirmation, please notify us immediately by emailing events@seashanghai.org.  If it's the day of an event, please ALSO notify the coordinator listed on the event by phone, text or WeChat. 

If you need to cancel after the event’s cancel-by date, our SEA cancellation policy applies which states you might still have to pay for your registered event, depending on the vendor. SEA will notify you to either collect or let you pay it at your next registered event.
