About the Event
Led by Julie Chun (Adjunct Professor of Art History), we will explore the difference between private and public museums in China. We will discuss the ways in which culture is utilized as an aspect of soft power and how exhibition-making can add to the discourse of nation-building. The China Art Museum is currently the largest museum by square footage on the Asian continent. Come join us on an insightful afternoon as we navigate this immense space.
