About the Event
The first US consulate office outside of the American Concession, the largest bank building back in its day, and the biggest church for the British residents of Shanghai… these are just some of the hidden gems to be found behind the Bund. Lisa Zhu will take us for a walk off the beaten track to reveal the history of the buildings and admire their magnificent architecture. Our walk will end at a lovely café in a historical bookstore.
