About the Event
The female body passes through different phases (such as menstruation, pregnancy, and menopause) and in every phase it needs special care. We will learn what Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM) suggests as treatments for common premenstrual syndrome and menstruation pain, how TCM can support us in pregnancy, menopause, and even infertility, and learn about helpful acupuncture and self-pressure points.
Our instructor, Dr. Serena received her degree in TCM from Shanghai University of Traditional Chinese Medicine, majoring in internal medicine and acupuncture. Having studied with China National Gynecology Master Dr. Zhu Nan Sun for years, she specializes in gynecological disorders such as dysmenorrhea, menopausal syndrome, PMS, fibroid, endometriosis, and infertility. With a combination of herbal medicine, acupuncture, and aromatherapy, she also develops effective healing programs for all pain problems as well as for urogenital infection, osteoporosis, insomnia, anxiety, headaches, and digestive disorders.
