Known as the “Porcelain City”, Jingdezhen was the designated source for all porcelain goods in the Imperial household for over 900 years. This city has a history of porcelain making dating back nearly two millennia. The majority of the world’s fine Chinese ceramics dating from that time can be traced to Jingdezhen’s workshops. Today Jingdezhen remains a major source of ceramic goods found around the world.

“Jingdezhen Ceramics Tour” gives us an opportunity to see the ancient wood-fired kilns, learn the history of China’s fine ceramics, in addition to see contemporary ceramic art studios.
