About the Event
Join us for a fabulous hands-on Chinese cooking class with Cici, who has been teaching Chinese cooking for almost ten years. Cici will teach key Chinese cooking skills, and also introduce and explain the background of the fresh ingredients. The class will focus on making complicated procedures easy in order to experience the joy of the process. Cici is a registered dietitian and a top rated AirBnB experience host.
We will be cooking delicious Baozi! In this class, we will learn how to cook two traditional Shanghainese types - pork baozi and vegetable baozi, all from scratch.
Baozi is a food with long history. The local people eat baozi every day because ingredients are easy to get and nutritious. Baozi can be eaten at any time of the day - for breakfast, lunch or supper. And, they are suitable for all ages, young and old.
Once the food is cooked, we will sit and enjoy the tasty dishes with a glass of beer, water, or tea.
