Biking around to explore new areas and try tasty street food. We will start this easy bike ride in the former French concession on the streets shaded by beautiful plane trees. We will first go to the soup dumpling restaurant, which many believe is one of the best in the city, and have some super tasty dumplings.

Then, we will make our way to the International Settlement in Jingan District and stop by a small restaurant for traditional Shanghai-style breakfast food. We will also try China’s most popular street food, Jianbing, from a food stand.

After that, we will ride to the People’s Square and then take the quiet road by the Suzhou Creek that leads to the Bund. From the Bund, we will bike to Hongkou, where the Jewish refugees stayed during World War II. Shanghai was a shelter for them, and thousands of lives were saved. We will…
