About the Event

South of Hangzhou’s West Lake lies the hometown of China’s most renowned tea — Dragon Well. The harvest season for Dragon Well, or Longjing, tea is only a few weeks a year.

Leave the city life behind as we cruise the winding road to the tea village, learn how the tea industry has changed the lives of local villages, and all about the famous Dragon Well tea. We will hike the tea plantation, get insight on the harvest, watch the roasting process, and do a tea tasting. We will also have lunch at a tea farmer’s home with a delicious pre-selected menu reflecting Hangzhou cuisine including many vegetable dishes.

Let’s embrace Mother Nature while sipping a cup of the most famous Chinese green tea!
