The Peking Opera workshop will introduce us to the performance history, singing characteristics and mask art of the Peking Opera. We will learn to appreciate the charm and artistic characteristics of Peking Opera. Besides the introduction of relevant theories, the teacher will invite some of us to participate in the charm of the opera experience, by dressing in costumes and learning some simple movements and key skills of Peking Opera performers. In addition, some participants will be invited to experience the art of facial makeup in Peking Opera. The teacher will draw the outline of facial makeup for us, introduce the characteristics of facial makeup art, and explain how to judge the character and characteristics through facial makeup.
