The area started with a temple and flourished with Hudec’s architecture. It is “The Place” to live even now. We will follow Lisa Zhu for a two-hour walk and explore the famous foreigner lane, relive stories of the Garden Villas, and learn the history of this hidden gem of Shanghai situated amongst some of the quaintest tea houses and cafés. The walk will end with our choice of delightful noodles or dumplings for lunch at a special local restaurant!

Cancellation Policy

If you are unable to attend an event after receipt of confirmation, please notify us immediately by emailing events@seashanghai.org.  If it's the day of an event, please ALSO notify the coordinator listed on the event by phone, text, or WeChat.

If you need to cancel after October 18, our SEA cancellation policy applies which states you might still have to pay for your registered event, depending on the vendor. SEA will contact you to collect the fee for the missed event.
