Chinese knots can add interesting elements to your pearl necklace and give a new dimension to your jewelry making. Come and join Valerie Wu for a two-hour session in making a simple, yet stylish, pearl necklace. She will teach us how to knot a lengthy necklace using freshwater pearls, colored cord, or leather with a basic Chinese knot. Also, she will give us some useful buying advice for pearls. Valerie Wu has taught jewelry classes in Shanghai and Hong Kong, and designs jewelry with a mix of semi-precious stones, jade and pearls. All materials are provided.

Cancellation Policy

If you are unable to attend an event after receipt of confirmation, please notify us immediately by emailing events@seashanghai.org. If it's the day of an event, please ALSO notify the coordinator listed on the event by WeChat.

If you need to cancel after February 6, our SEA cancellation policy applies which states you might still have to pay for your registered event, depending on the vendor. SEA will contact you to collect the fee for the missed event.
