About the Event
Chinese knots can add interesting elements to a pearl necklace and give a new dimension to our jewelry making. Join Valerie Wu for a two-hour session where we will make a simple, yet stylish pearl necklace. She will teach us how to knot a lengthy necklace using freshwater pearls, colored cord, or leather with a basic Chinese knot. She will also give us some useful buying tips for pearls. All materials are provided.
Valerie Wu has taught jewelry classes in Shanghai and Hong Kong. She designs jewelry with a mix of semi-precious stones, jade, and pearls.
