About the Event

Join as for the SEA Chinese New Year luncheon at Hakkasan in the iconic historical building Bund 18.

Hakkasan is an award-winning restaurant which uses the finest ingredients and expert traditional techniques to create timeless, yet innovative, signature Cantonese dishes. The restaurant is known for its chic ambience and authentic Cantonese cuisine curated with a contemporary flair.

The menu is specially designed for SEA members. Local guide Lisa Zhu will provide a talk about Chinese New Year history and traditions. Come hungry, curious, and ready to spend some quality time with friends.

Small plates:

Dim sum trio: black pepper lotus root puff, xiaolongbao soup dumpling, matsutake pumpkin puff

Crispy duck salad

Main:

Stir-fry black pepper Australian Angus rib eye

Smoked crispy spring chicken served with soya

Spricy prawn with lily bulb and almond

Pea sprouts and fresh bean curd in rice milk

Fried rice with egg white

Dessert:

Choice of egg custard nest (vanilla custard, caramelised pastry, orange Sichuan sorbet)

Or

Coconut semifreddo (lime curd, coconut sorbet)

Green garden salad with seaweed and lemongrass vinaigrette

Main:

Hakka noodle with shimeji mushroom and bean sprout

Stir-fry lotus root, asparagus and lily bulb

Tofu, eggplant and Japanese mushroom claypot with homemade tofu, chilli and black bean sauce

Pea sprouts and fresh bean curd in rice milk

Fried rice with egg white

Dessert:

Cancellation Policy

If you are unable to attend the luncheon after receipt of confirmation, please notify us immediately by emailing SEA@shanghaiSEA.com. If it's the day of the event, please ALSO notify the coordinator listed on the event by WeChat.

If you need to cancel after January 29th, our SEA cancellation policy applies which states you might still have to pay for your registered event, depending on the vendor. SEA will notify you to either collect or let you pay it at your next registered event.
