About the Event
Xujihui is an area located in the city center, which was once the center of a religious mission led by European Jesuits over the past two centuries.
Follow our guide Clarisse Le Guernic, from Arcade Experiences, for a 2.5 hour walk through this neighborhood to learn about its history of the St. Ignatius Cathedral, a former orphanage and monastery, a school, a library and the Xujihui Observatory.
Enjoy architectural treasures, while listening to the incredible stories of Xu Guangqi, the Society of Jesus and the Jesuits in China.
