Welcome to Shanghai Cooking Class with Chef Mike!
Whether you are new to Shanghai or would simply like to refresh your cooking skills, this class is for you! We are going to discover, or revisit for some of us, some Shanghainese staple dishes with Chef Mike, a Shanghai culinary fixture for the expat community.
He will show us step by step how to make xiaolongbao, small, delicious steamed soup dumplings filled with minced pork and hot broth, and Shanghai cold noodles (liangmian), a famous summer comfort food among locals. And a meal wouldn’t be complete in China without its share of vegetables.
