About the Event
Fengjing is a beautiful water town in Shanghai, bordering Jiangsu and Zhejiang provinces. Compared with the region’s more famous ancient towns, Fengjing is far less touristy, offering a more authentic glimpse of local life. We will cycle through the historic water town and visit the nearby Farmers’ Painting Village, known for its distinctive tradition of Chinese folk painting. The colorful, unpretentious works created by local villagers express their connection to rural life and their unique perspectives on the world around them.
The total cycling distance is approximately 18 km on flat, paved roads.
This day trip includes:
English-speaking guide and bike technician
Private van transportation to Qingpu (about 1.5 hours from Shanghai) and back
Rental bike and helmet (you are welcome to bring your own helmet)
