About the Event
Join Fly from Shanghai Outing Club for a day trip to Tiantai Mountain. Located in Taizhou, Tiantai County is a picturesque region in Zhejiang Province, renowned for its lush mountains, Buddhist heritage, and natural wonders. As the birthplace of Tiantai Buddhism, the area blends spiritual history with stunning landscapes.
We will visit the 1,400-year-old, UNESCO-listed Guoqing Temple, and hike from an otherworldly canyon with vistas of emerald pools and sheer cliffs, filled with legends of Taoist immortals, to Tiantai Mountain Grand Waterfall. Included are the thrilling heavenly elevator and the glass bridge with panoramic views. Please join us and be amazed by the dramatic 325-meter cascade waterfall.
