About the Event

Join us for a day trip to the former capital of China. We will travel by train to Hangzhou. Our guide will take us to the Academy of Art to see buildings designed by the first Chinese Pritzker award winner in Architecture, Wang Suh, with a visit to the campus art museum. We will have lunch at a local restaurant featuring area specialties, and continue our trip with some famous West Lake views and a boat trip on the lake. We will visit a lotus garden and finish our visit with a guided tour of the Dragon Well Tea Plantation, with its 1600-year history of tea cultivation, and a stop at the National Tea Museum.

7:30am Registration, 8am to 7pm

COST:

RMB 650 (includes train ticket, bus transportation, lunch, entrance to sites, and tea)

SEA cancellation policy applies after August 16. The event costs must be paid in cash only. The train tickets will be purchased in advance, and this portion must be remitted by WeChat.
