About the Event
Hu & Hu opened in 1998 and became one of Suzy Gershman’s (from Born to Shop) favorite shop and was named by her as “one of the top Ten Best Stores in Hong Kong, Shanghai and Beijing.” We will take a day trip to the outskirts of Shanghai in Songjiang to hear from the proprietor and designer Denise Xie, who has 25 years of experience in collecting and restoring antiques, and custom-made pieces according to clients’ specifications. Come for a chat with Denise and learn the personal stories behind specific pieces, and enjoy a light meal of handmade dumplings.
