JiaXing is the birth place of the Chinese Communist Party, hometown of the dragon boat festival food “zongzi”, as well as the beautiful blue and white indigo-dyed fabric. We will follow Lisa Zhu from Shanghai and Beyond, to explore the lake where the communist party had their first meeting, visit the factory where they continue the production of blue and white indigo-dyed fabric, and taste the nationally well known “zongzi”!
