About the Event
Chinese knotting is an ancient folk art that is simple and charming. The knot comes in various forms and each knot is attached with a special auspicious meaning to its owner. As Chinese New Year is approaching, Valerie will show us how to make an elegant knot called the Good Luck Knot (ji xiang吉祥), which can be used as a wall ornament, purse charm, zodiac charm, or even as a decorative gift that carries good wishes to its receiver.
