Foot Binding Museum
Time & Location
About the Event
Join us for a visit with Lisa Zhu to a private foot binding museum where we can appreciate this fascinating collection of tiny shoes for women from over 100 years ago, and amazing old embroidery pieces. Listen to the history of foot binding in China and learn the stories behind these collections! Like a lot of other private museums in Shanghai, this private foot binding museum won’t be here forever as the owner is getting older. Do not miss this special opportunity!
