About the Event
This ride is for bike lovers. We will start from the south end of the bike trail along the river close to Xupu Bridge. Once we choose the bikes, there is only one thing to do - follow the bike lane and enjoy the scenery.
There are 13 bridges over the Huangpu River in Shanghai. We will be encountering 4 of them during the ride.
1) The first is Xupu Bridge, which is at our meeting point.
2) The second one we will be passing by is Nanpu Bridge, which is the earliest bridge built in the city center in 1991. This was a major project in the early years of development in Pudong.
3) We will continue to ride to Lupu Bridge, which once was the longest steel arch bridge in the world. The area by Lupu is the former Expo site where Shanghai hosted the 2010 World Exposition.…
