About the Event
Join us for a concert by internationally-recognized Russian pianist and teacher Andrei Ivanovitch.
Ivanovich has studied at the St.Petersburg conservatory, the Russian music academy in Moscow, and Hochschule for Music Karlsruhe in Germany. He is the winner of many prestigious international piano competitions (Cagliari, Salerno, Cologne, Terni, "World piano competition"- Gold-Medaille), and has performed at such world-renowned venues as Carnegie Hall (New York), the National Center of Performing Arts in Beijing, Moscow and St. Petersburg Philharmonics, and the concert halls of Tokyo, Osaka, Kyoto, Berlin, Rome, Bucharest, and Belgrade.
Andrei Ivanovich is a member of the Chopin society in Russia, sits on the board of the Rachmaninov society in Germany, and is an official representative of the Tchaikovsky international festival.
Andrei Ivanovich happily combines his concert activities and teaching. He leads piano classes at St. Petersburg and Harbin conservatories, gives master classes on a regular basis at Shanghai and Beijing conservatories, and works as a jury member of international piano competitions.

G. Gershwin, Excerpts from Songbook (Transcriptions for piano),
Rhapsody in Blue (Transcription for piano solo)

Cancellation Policy
If you are unable to attend the event after receipt of confirmation, please notify us immediately by emailing events@seashanghai.org. If it's the day of the event, please ALSO notify the coordinator listed on the event by phone, text, or WeChat.
If you need to cancel after December 10, our SEA cancellation policy applies which states you might still have to pay for your registered event, depending on the vendor. SEA will notify you to either collect or let you pay it at your next registered event.
