Peach blossoms are seen as a symbol of love and prosperity. The annual Nanhui Peach Blossom Festival is the best place to surround ourselves with masses of pink blossoms.    

We will take a bus for 1.5 hours from the city and bike in the beautiful countryside of Nanhui. Biking through the sea of blossoms is a great way to welcome spring. We will then have lunch at a restaurant that is owned by local farmers. We will try some homestyle dishes and fresh vegetables, and fully enjoy the gifts of nature. In the afternoon, we will travel by bus to Dishui Lake, Shanghai’s far southeast area. We will bike a little around the lake.
