About the Event
Non-governmental organizations (NGOs) are very important in China; as they show how people organize their social life, and how they get through tough times together. This walk will lead us through a very “Shanghainese“ area of the city - a hidden public park and Gongyi Xintiandi, a hot spot for many NGOs, and will give us an impression on how Shanghai is to be lived by its inhabitants. Dr. Annette Mehlhorn from China Culture Consulting will lead us through this hidden corner of Shanghai.
