About the Event

Hengsha Island is famously known as the longevity eco-island. It is a clean and quiet place that has no industry. With tree coverage over at least 70% and orchards everywhere, it is a tremendous joy to cycle on this charming island.

We will take the bus from Shanghai for 1.5 hours to Changxing Island and then a short ferry ride to Hengsha. Once we get to the island, we will choose our bikes and cycle for one hour to a nice restaurant for lunch. In the afternoon, we will bike along the coastline where we can see the wetlands with birds and buffaloes. After that, we will bike to a few villages where farmers' houses are encircled with beautiful flowers and vegetables. We will finally arrive at an orchard to pick oranges. Cycling distance is around 30km. A support vehicle will be available so those who don't want to pedal the entire distance can ride in the bus.
