About the Event
In 1933 one of the most legendary nightclubs, the Paramount, opened its doors to the public. Chiang-Kai-Sek’s son, Victor Sassoon, and GC Marshall were all regulars there. Even Charlie Chaplin and his wife made a special trip to the Paramount. The place may no longer be in its glory days, but it’s still a popular place for dance lovers. Please, join us for a dance along with local dancers in this elegant Art Deco style building. Our guide Lisa Zhu will tell us the fascinating history of this place.
