Sound Art has been the latest fascination in contemporary art. Is this merely a new trend or has there been historical precedents? Join us for an artistic (and aural) journey through the exhibition “I Never Dream Otherwise Than Awake: Journeys in Sound” on view at the Centre Pompidou x West Bund Museum. By breaking down key critical points, this unique session will provoke and test conventional thoughts to expand our understanding and vocabulary of “art” so as to experience the complexities achieved in visual arts that will go beyond the limits of our gaze.
