About the Event
Join us as we stroll in the fresh autumn air along one of the most interesting roads in the Former French Concession: Wulumuqi Lu. Route Dufour, as its southern section was known back in the day, stretched from farmland south of the Foreign Settlements to the border with the International Settlement. From farmhouses to mansions, Art Deco apartment houses to hospitals, from Masonic lodges to churches and schools, all can still be found along Wulumuqi Lu, and Historic Shanghai’s Patrick Cranley will tell us about the many characters who lived, loved, prayed, and plotted there.
