About the Event
The “International Settlement” used to be a place for the successful high society of Shanghai. Foreigners as well as Chinese merchants lived next to each other. Especially a group of Sephardic Jews used to finance colonial Shanghai. They had built mansions and elegant apartments in this area.
A diversified “zigzag-walk“ with Carolin Billetter from culture2go.art / China Culture Consulting along and across Nanjing Xi Lu, will show hidden lanes as well as highlights of Shanghai architecture. Great buildings, diversified atmosphere, interesting stories!
