About the Event
The international settlement used to be a place for the successful high society of Shanghai. Foreigners as well as Chinese merchants lived next to each other. Especially a group of Sephardic Jews used to finance colonial Shanghai. They built mansions and elegant apartments in this area.
Join us for a walk with Carolin Billetter from China Culture Consulting along and across Nanjing Rd. (W). We will see hidden lanes as well as highlights of Shanghai architecture. Great buildings, diversified atmosphere, and interesting stories!
