How did a Chinese guy create an entertainment myth over one hundred years ago? What are the origins of Shanghai's most famous street eats, i.e. deda, xiandelai, xiaoshaoxing, and dahuchun? And which building imitated the Chinese palace architecture with a hidden secret? If you wish to know then join us on this insider's tour led by Janny Chyn from Shanghai Pathways. She will take us to explore a great neighborhood and learn about Shanghai's history, while sampling all kinds of street food and famous Shanghai dishes.
