About the Event
The Shanghai Library area has many European-style mansions. Lisa Zhu will take us for a walk to peek through doors and windows of these elegant homes and reveal the legends of their previous influential owners, such as Chiang Kai Shek’s son, the Chinese Clark Gable, and the father of China’s shipping industry. We will also stop in delicious pastry stores, cafes, and even a sake bar! We will end our tour slurping a bowl of noodles from a contemporary-style noodle bar!
