About the Event
Join Julie Chun (Adjunct Professor of Art History) as we witness the beauty of Persian miniature paintings that have traveled from Iran to Shanghai to celebrate the 50th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between China and Iran. We will be introduced to the basic artistic and stylistic features of traditional and contemporary Persian miniature paintings. An expert scholar on Middle Eastern studies from Fudan University has also been invited to add to the conversation.
