About the Event
Of all the leading and living Chinese contemporary artists, Xu Bing holds a pivotal position in China and the US. As the 1999 recipient of the prestigious MacArthur Fellows Program, Xu’s large-scale works rarely fail to overwhelm the viewers with his artistic creativity and biting intelligence. Join Julie Chun (Adjunct Professor of Art History) as we deconstruct and analyze his most iconic works at his solo exhibition held in the Museum of Art Pudong.
